The 2019 Nissan Titan is a full-size light-duty pickup available in five trim levels; S, SV, SL, Pro-4X and Platinum Reserve. Available in 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive, the Titan is offered in three different cab styles; Single Cab Long Bed, Crew Cab Short Bed and King Cab Standard Bed. The Titan is powered by a 5.6L V8 producing 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque, refined by Nissan's Variable Valve Event and Lift Technology (VVEL). The engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission designed for optimal performance and fuel efficiency.
The Titan S trim is the base model trim available. Standard features include 18-inch steel wheels, keyless entry with push button ignition, lockable tailgate with dampened assist, LED cargo bed lights, active grille shutter, and a rearview camera. A 7-inch color display infotainment system allows for Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, Bluetooth hands-free as well as steering-wheel-mounted audio controls. The SV trim adds to these standard features with chrome exterior trim, advanced driver assist, SiriusXM satellite radio and trailer sway control. The S and SV trim are available for all three cab styles.
The Titan Crew Cab offers additional trim levels with the SL, Pro-4X and Platinum Reserve, while the King Cab also offers the Pro-4X trim. The Pro-4X trim includes all the features of the SV, adding all-terrain off-road tires, Bilstein off-road performance shocks, an electronic locking rear differential, hill descent control and skid plates. The SL trim also adds to the SV features with remote engine start, leather-appointed seats, a bed-mounted channel system with four tie-down cleats, a power sliding rear window, front tow hooks, a Class IV tow hitch receiver, NissanConnect Service and a Rockford Fosgate audio system. An SL Midnight Edition is available for the Crew Cab, which features black exterior accents, 20-inch black alloy wheels and body-color bumpers. The top-of-the-line Platinum Reserve trim offers additional luxury to the truck with premium two-tone leather seats, heated rear seats and heated/cooled front seats, 20-inch dark chrome alloy wheels, dark chrome exterior trim, power heated mirrors, and an intelligent around view camera which offers a 360-degree view of the Titan to help ensure full clearance around objects and pedestrians.
Nissan offers various optional packages for the Titan including an Entertainment System Package, Off-Road Package, Platinum Reserve Utility Package, Chrome Package and more. This allows buyers to choose between a large variety of interior comfort, exterior style and performance options to fit their needs.
The Titan rides on a sturdy boxed-ladder frame borrowed from Nissan's line of commercial vans. Front suspension is courtesy of reinforced double-wishbones and a stabilizer bar, while the rear features a multi-leaf setup. Brakes are 14.2-inch vented discs in front and 14.4-vented discs in the rear, which provide plenty of stopping power for the big Nissan. Towing is made easy in the 2018 Titan with the Crew and King Cab tow capacity up to 9,400 pounds and the Single Cab up to 9,740 pounds. Features such as the tow-haul mode, rear-view monitor, remote brake light check, available brake controller and trailer sway control make towing an ease for drivers.
Safety in the big truck has not been overlooked, and standard on all Titans are anti-lock brakes, stability and traction controls, and front airbags and roof-mounted curtain airbags for the front and rear.

A beefy 485-watt 12-speaker Fender audio system is added to its stand-alone options list. A Midnight Edition Package will again be offered on Crew Cab SV and SL models, bringing a custom look straight from the factory
The 2019 Nissan Titan full-size pickup provides power, strength and versatility for whatever a driver would need. With the available cab styles, performance options and durability the Titan rivals that of the Ford F-150, Toyota Tundra and Ram 1500. The interior is roomy and comfortable, with various technology options that are desirable to truck owners. One of the benefits that may take it over the top is that the Titan comes with the best in class, 5-year/100,000-mile, bumper-to-bumper warranty.
