The only engine for the Town and Country is a 3.6L "Pentastar" V6 that produces 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. A 'Fuel Economizer' mode helps make engine and powertrain adjustments to maximize fuel efficiency. The high performance V6 is mated to the 6-speed automatic transmission and drives premium, lower-rolling resistance tires, low friction bearings and other technology to improve fuel economy. The 2013 Chrysler town and country is mechanically identical to the 2012 model; however Chrysler has made numerous improvements to the interior entertainment system, with the rear seat DVD player seeing the bulk of the improvements. Rear seat DVD players now come with an HDMI input, higher resolution screens, USB ports and an optional Blu-ray player. All models now come with leather seating.
